Under 15 Boys championships take place this Saturday at 10.30 am at RALD Soccer Field as the Western Warriors U15 boys battle Dynamos Fc for the League Championship.
The race for the division titles got settled last night at the RALD Soccer Field in the Senior Men’s Division.The defending Champions, University of the Bahamas Mingoes are officially out of the tournament and the Bears are Fc are officially in!
In soccer action last night, the Bears FC took on the Renegades FC in a battle for the second seed in the playoffs.Both teams needed to win to stay in the hunt.The Renegades got a goal each from Larry Noel and Walden Mennon, but that was not enough to overcome goal scoring machine , young Brandon Adderley who registered a hattrick in the end to carry the Bears into the playoffs with one game to go against their division leader, Western Warriors.
In the first match on the night, the Dynamos FC put a dent in the playoff plans of the Future Stars Under 18 boys . The Future stars started off the game under manned and ended the first half down 0-1.In the second half the game intensified after the Dynamos FC scored their second on the night when Brion Mackey added to the initial goal by Caleb Neeley..This was when the Stars coaches made a sub and put on Phenom player, Mikendy Paul.Mikendy and his squad put on a furious finish at the end scoring two goals but the clock ran out and the game ended in a draw.This sets up a intense rival match on Sunday , March 31st, 2019 at 1.00 pm as they take on the Western Warriors for the second seed in the playoffs.Both teams are now tied on points with Future Stars ahead based on head to head competition.Sunday the action will be hot as Mikendy Paul will look to carry his team to the win.Western Warriors Defense led by Mario Miller will be put to the test!
Under 18 Boys regular season games continue on Friday evening as Cavalier Fc and Baha Jr wrap up their season at RALD at 6.45 pm.Both are out of the playoffs and are playing for pride.
